摘要
Computerized interpretation of vapor phase infrared spectra as an identification tool for gas chromatography is discussed. Approaches based on library searching, pattern recognition, and artificial intelligence are compared. It is seen that a combination of these techniques and the incorporation of additional information, such as selective detector response, will lead to improved performance of the interpretation system. © 1979, Oxford University Press.
