摘要
We have performed 57Fe Mossbauer measurements on aligned iron-doped Crystallites of L˜-, S˜, CUO˜-˜. From the intensity ratio of the two quadrupole lines we deduce that the main axis of the elctric-field gradient does not coincide with the c-axis of the lattice. This surprising result indicates that at the iron ion the local symmetry around the c-axis is not fourfold. The implications of this result are briefly discussed. © 1990 The Japan Society of Applied Physics.
