摘要
This study investigated the accuracy of a physical attractiveness stereotype in which physically attractive men and women received higher internal locus of control attributions than less attractive men and women. The judged physical attractiveness of 28 male and 35 female undergraduate students was compared with their locus of control scores. As expected, the relationship was curvilinear with moderately attractive men and women reporting more internal control than those low or high in physical attractiveness. © 1978 Taylor & Francis Group, LLC.
