摘要：

The paper deals with (1) people's choices of principles for judging the justice of the aggregate income distribution (macro-principles) and of individual income apportionment (micro-principles), and with (2) the effects of these principles on income judgments elicited by differently-formulated survey questions. Several hypotheses are presented which deal with these two topics. The hypotheses have been tested by means of cross-sectional survey data. It appears that the choices of macro- and micro-principles are only weakly related and that the influence of the principles on the income judgments depends upon the type of questions put to subjects. © 1991.
