摘要
Reduction of a variety of diaryl- and dialkyl-1-alkynylphosphine sulfides to trans-β-substituted vinylphosphine sulfides employing lithium aluminum hydride is described. Support for a mechanistic path involving the β addition of a hydride ion is presented. Similar reduction of the corresponding alkynyl-1-phosphine oxides employing sodium borohydride is also described. A discussion of the 100-MHz proton nmr of α- and β-deuterated dimethyl-1-butenylphosphine sulfides is also included. © 1969, American Chemical Society. All rights reserved.
