PREDICTION OF THE HEAT-STORAGE COEFFICIENT OF A 3-PHASE SYSTEM

摘要
A theoretical model for the heat storage coefficient (HSC) of an unsaturated and saturated medium containing three phases is presented using the geometry-dependent resistor model. To test the validity of the derived expression, the HSC of building materials saturated with different liquids have been measured. A plane heat source has been used to measure the HSC. A good agreement has been found between the experimental and the predicted values.
