摘要
Iridium oxide electrodes prepared according to a thermal growth process are shown to be suitable for use in pH monitoring of aqueous electrolytes at high and low temperatures. Their potentiometric behaviour compares favourably with that shown by a commercially available glass electrode. This behaviour is discussed for the iridium oxide electrodes in terms of the electrochemical equilibrium at the electrode/solution interface.
