摘要
Fixed energy quantal inverse scattering theory has been used to analyze the differential cross section from the elastic scattering of 200 MeV protons from C-12. Ambiguities in obtaining the scattering function from the differential cross section are discussed and we illustrate by means of example that not all scattering functions lead to physically reasonable potentials.
