摘要
A conductimetric method has been used to measure ternary diffusion coefficients for aqueous NaCl plus MgCl//2 solutions at 25 degree C. The measurements were made at total salt concentrations from 0. 01-0. 5 M for NaCl:MgCl//2 ratios 1:3, 1:1 and 3:1. Binary thermodynamic, viscosity and mobility data for NaCl plus water and MgCl//2 plus water solutions are used to predict ternary diffusion coefficients for the NaCl plus MgCl//2 solutions. Qualitative agreement is obtained with optical and conductimetric data for ionic strengths up to 2 M.
