FUSION ENTHALPY AND ENTROPY OF ISOTACTIC POLYPENTENE-1 FROM CALORIMETRIC MEASUREMENTS

摘要
The method proposed by Flory for the determination of fusion enthalpy and entropy in crystalline polymers cannot be simply and directly applied when also metastable polymorphous modifications must be considered. The calorimetric method reported here allows a simultaneous and simple measurement of all parameters required for the determination of these quantities. This method was used by us, in particular for the determination of the fusion enthalpy and entropy of the two polymorphous modifications of isotactic polypentene-1. © 1968.
