摘要
Infrared spectra of v3, v4 and 2v4 of monofluoroacetylene have been measured with a resolution of ~0.05 cm- and the bands have been analysed to obtain rotational constants. These results have been used to determine that the Fermi-resonance operator, 〈v3 = 1, v4 = 0, l4 = 0|H'|v3 = 0, v4 = 2, l4 = 0〉, coupling the overtone of the CH deformation with the CF stretching mode, has a value of 10.6 ± 2.9 cm-1. From this, it appears that there is a rather large cubic force constant coupling the CF stretching and CH deformation internal coordinates. © 1969.
