摘要：

The objective of this article is to emphasize the necessity for dental participation in the treatment planning and rehabilitation of cancer patients. Most of these procedures can be effectively handled by general prosthodontists. General dental practitioners can be called upon to treat the less complicated situations. Therefore, the teaching of the prosthetic management of facial deformities should be an integral part of the undergraduate dental curriculum. © 1968 The C. V. Mosby Company.
