摘要：

The long-term trend in precipitation patterns at the greater Tel-Aviv area as well as in the surrounding regions has been statistically analyzed. It is shown that annual rainfall at stations within the boundaries of the Tel-Aviv metropolitan area as well as in downwind regions exhibit a significant increasing trend with respect to other stations in the area. The harmonic analysis applied to the annual rainfall march, averaged over two normal consecutive periods, reveals a shift in time of the peak value, occurring several days earlier during the second period. These changes in precipitation patterns seem to be affected by the extensive urbanization process. © 1979 Springer-Verlag.
