摘要
Differential thermal analysis of the constituents of Li/SO2 cells were carried out in an effort to identify the chemical constituents which react exothermically to initiate and/or propagate a thermal runaway. Li + AN was found to be the most reactive combination which reacted exothermically at ambient temperature, whereas, Li + SO2 was found to be the least reactive comoination, which did not react even at as high a temperature as 320°C. © 1979, The Electrochemical Society, Inc.
