HIGH-FIELD MAGNETOABSORPTION OF HYDROGENIC EXCITONS AT 2ND DIRECT GAP IN INSE

摘要
The magneto-optical absorption of the E'1 exciton in γ-InSe has been measured at 4.2 K in pulsed magnetic fields up to 378 kOe. The measurement in the Faraday configuration gives the reduced effective mass μ⊥=(0.119±0.007)mo. The measured mass parameter shows that the N-th interband Landau transition energy lies above but parallel to the (N+1)-th excitonic level observed in high magnetic fields. © 1979, THE PHYSICAL SOCIETY OF JAPAN.
