摘要
Miniaturization of the separation column produces numerous merits in high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC). The attractive features of micro-scale HPLC are described in this paper. Microcolumn-based detection shows better mass sensitivity. The micro-scale HPLC system can be used not only for liquid chromatography but for gas and supercritical fluid chromatography, as well leading to a unification of chromatography. © 1990 Springer-Verlag.
