SINGLE-FREQUENCY ND - GLASS-LASER OSCILLATOR WITH PULSE-TRANSMISSION-MODE Q-SWITCH

摘要
A Q-switched Nd:glass laser oscillator delivering 1054 nm single-frequency pulses of 5 ns duration and pulse energies of up to 2 mJ is described. These values were achieved by combining the techniques of slow Q-switching and pulse-transmission-mode (PTM) Q-switching. The spectral, spatial, and temporal characteristics of the pulses were determined experimentally. The measured values are shown to be in good agreement with theoretical predictions.
