摘要
For a polyatomic one-dimensional chain of particles interacting via various nearest neighbor potentials of any even order, it is shown that there are stationary vibrational modes (SVMs) periodic in time with stable spatial configuration. The forms of the dispersion curve for a diatomic periodic chain of particles interacting via two different kinds of nearest neighbor springs of even order have been studied. © 1990.
