EFFICIENT ROOM-TEMPERATURE TUNABLE LASERS AND PASSIVE Q-SWITCHERS BASED ON LIF-F-2(-) CRYSTALS

摘要
Efficient room-temperature color center lasers for the 1070-1310 nm region based on LiF: F ($) over bar(2) active elements which work with a high repetition rate and small linewidth were realized. As a result of active elements manufacturing LiF, crystals with a high F ($) over bar(2) concentration (K-1.064 = 0.75 cm(-1)) and low losses have been developed. Effective passive Q-switching of the YAG:Nd3+ laser at 1064 nm has been obtained on the crystals developed.
