摘要
Miscibility in blends of two statistical copolymers of the type (AxB1-x) and (CyD1-y), namely poly(styrene-co-acrylonitrile) and poly(N-phenyl rmitaconimide-co-methyl methacrylate), has been studied using differential scanning calorimetry. Miscible blends of these copolymers were obtained over a wide composition range. Theoretical 'miscibility maps', i.e. miscibility boundaries as a function of copolymer composition, have been calculated for this system by a predictive mean-field treatment involving the six segmental interaction parameters (χij). Excellent agreement between the predicted maps and experimental data is shown. © 1990.
