摘要
The electrochemical reduction of Cs2UCl6 is investigated at 298 K in hexamethylphosphoramide (HMPA), dimethylsulphoxide, ethylene glycol dimethylether and propylene carbonate, and at 400 K in HMPA together with dimethylsulphone (DMSO2). The transient techniques describe a two-step reduction: trivalent uranium is the intermediate oxidation state and metallic uranium is the final product. Macroscopic quantities of the metallic actinide are obtained only in molten DMSO2 at 400 K. © 1990.
