摘要
1. Increase in exercise intensity result in linear (r = 0.82) increases in whole-body sweat rate. 2. The total number of active sweat glands recruited increases significantly (P < 0.05) with increases in exercise workload. 3. Mean sweat rate per gland is unchanged (P > 0.05) with increases in exercise intensity. 4. Whole-body sweat mte is linearly (r = 0.84) correlated to the number of active sweat glands recruited during exercise.
