摘要
An atomistic model for the formation of annealing twins is proposed. According to this model annealing twins are formed by a two dimensional nucleation process on the {111} planes of the growing grains (f.c.c. structure). The predictions of this model are compared with electron microscopic and metallographie observations. © 1969.
