摘要：

A method is described for the isolation, fractionation, and assay of acid mucopolysaccharides. It is usable for quantities of tissue containing as little as 5 μg uronic acid as mucopolysaccharide, and offers a considerable improvement in simplicity and speed over existing techniques. Although developed in this laboratory for the analysis of skin biopsies, it appears probable that this method will prove of value in the study of pathological changes in other tissues. © 1968.
