摘要
Models in which the cell contents are partitioned into distinct pulp and froth phases are reviewed critically. The nature of the mixing within the phases is discussed. Multiphase models describing froth column concentration gradients and pulp residence time effects are mentioned. It is shown that at steady state multiphase models can be reduced to the two-phase case. Deficiencies in the models and topics requiring further development are outlined. © 1978.
