LASER-INDUCED MOLECULAR BACKGROUND FLUORESCENCE IN FLAMES

摘要
Laser induced fluorescence of several flame species (C2, CH, OH, CN) was investigated in air/C2H2 and N2O/C2H2 flames using a N2 laser pumped-dye laser system. In all cases, the resulting fluorescence spectrum extends over a broad wavelength range. Due to collisional energy transfer in the flame, several nonresonance fluorescence transitions are observed. © 1979.
