摘要
This paper deals with the effect of ultrasonic field on electric discharge phenomena. An electrode of a positive needle to a disc gap was located at an antinode of particle velocity in a standing wave field. Both the intensity of sound and the applied voltage were varied. Results showed that the luminous part of the bridge-over corona discharge and spark discharges was changed from a linear to a fan-like shape by sound waves, and the spread width of the luminous part of discharges was proportional to the displacement of sound.
