摘要：

Monograptus aequabilis cf. notoaequabilis Jaeger & Stein (1969) occurs in the Mathinna Beds, near Scamander, northeastern Tasmania, and indicates a probable age of early Pragian (late Siegenian) for the host sedimentary rocks. These can be correlated with either the upper part of the Wilson Creek Shale or the immediately overlying siltstone unit at Seymour, Victoria.
