THE GENERAL TRANSFORMATION LAW OF THE GRAVITATIONAL-FIELD AND ITS ALGEBRA VIA NOETHERS PROCEDURE

摘要
We identify the gravitational field, its transformation law, and the corresponding algebra by coupling it as an external field to the energy-momentum tensor in φ{symbol}44-theory. The transformation law turns out to be an infinite power series which, however, can be brought to the linear standard form by a suitable field redefinition. The algebra is shown to be maintained for all solutions of the Noether equation. © 1992.
