摘要
The effects of the deformation characteristics of fibre-matrix interfaces are considered in a model of creep in aligned short-fibre reinforced composites. The fibres are assumed to extend elastically and the matrix is subjected to power-law creep. The model defines a boundary factor B which indicates the effectiveness of stress transfer between matrix and fibre. The important parameters in determining creep performance are B, fibre aspect ratio and fibre volume fraction.
