摘要
A procedure for identifying the main source of the suspended sediment load of a stream by simple, cheap, rapid and nondestructive magnetic measurements is applicable to samples taken during the routine sampling of flood events permitting general characterisation of the load and more detailed investigation of variations in sediment source both during and between individual flood events. © 1979 Nature Publishing Group.
