摘要
We present a new approach for in vivo localized spectroscopy which combines H-1 and P-31 one-dimensional spectroscopic imaging pulse sequences in an interleaved, time-shared manner using a surface coil. This approach was used to acquire metabolic information from a rat brain with regional ischemia at 4.7 Tesla. Spectra with very good signal-to-noise ratios, void of chemical shift artifacts, are obtainable from voxel sizes less than 0.3 cm3 in 40 min. Advantages and drawbacks of the proposed methodology are discussed.
