摘要
For a TL dosimeter system consisting of TLD 700 and a Toledo reader all error parameters have been investigated in detail, which may significantly affect the calibration uncertainty in TL dosimetry. Above all trap instabilities in the order of 2% have been found at laboratory conditions during a period of three days immediately after annealing, after exposure or after pre-heating. Further uncertainties up to 5% result from the inconstancy of the reader mainly from the planchet and the light source applied for an internal reader calibration. A formula is presented which explains the actual standard deviation of the dose measurement as a function of error parameters and exposure of the dosimeter system. In addition the calibration technique of individual detectors and of a batch is discussed. © 1979.
