摘要
Relationships are established which describe the evolution of the corrosion potential of freshly generated aluminium with time during repassivation. The relationships explain quantitatively the empirical observation that the free corrosion potential of freshly generated aluminium surfaces increases linearly with log t during repassivation by oxide film growth. In some solutions deviation from this linearity towards higher values of partial derivative E/partial derivative log t is caused by the presence of dissolved oxygen.
