摘要
A theoretical explanation of a new triggering method, published by S. Kinbara and T. Kumahara, is given. It is shown, that the method is not applicable to arbitrary pulse shapes. Conditions are given, for which the method provides a time determination independent of rise time and amplitude of the pulse. The surface barrier detector pulse shape is treated as an example. In the case of the Ge(Li) detector, those conditions are not fulfilled. © 1969.
