摘要
A new class of compounds, for example 2, synthesized from 1 or iodosobenzene, are the title compounds in this article. The oxidation potential of 1 is increased considerably by bis(onio) substitution; thus, these new systems can be used as potent oxidants. Applications include dehydrogenations of monohydrazones to give diazo compounds and of 1,2‐bishydrazones to give alkynes. (Figure Presented.) Copyright © 1994 by VCH Verlagsgesellschaft mbH, Germany
