ENERGY DEPENDENCE OF OPTICAL POTENTIAL FROM A DISPERSION RELATION

摘要
The real part of the optical model potential for neutrons in the energy region 0-200 MeV is expressed in terms of the equivalent local potential of an energy-independent real non-local potential and a dispersion integral over an energy-dependent imaginary local potential. By using a non-locality of Yukawan shape, a potential with the same energy dependence can be found as that derived from an energy-independent complex purely non-local potential with Gaussian non-locality in a previous paper. The dispersion approach, however, gives rise to a stronger energy dependence of the geometrical parameters of the nuclear surface. Various other effects of different non-local form factors and different asymptotic energy dependence of the imaginary potential are investigated. © 1969.
