METHODS OF MEASUREMENT AND RECONSTRUCTION FOR TOMOGRAPHIC RECORDS

Tomographic measuring methods are being used more and more frequently in process engineering studies. This technique permits contactless and reactionless measurement of concentration, temperature, and velocity fields. The measuring methods used in tomography are explained in this article. In addition, the paper also considers mathematical methods for the reconstruction of measured field quantities and examines their quality of reconstruction. Numerous applications of tomography are cited.
