HYDRIDO-CARBONATO, HYDRIDO-CARBAMATO, AND CARBON-DIOXIDE COMPLEXES OF TUNGSTEN DERIVED FROM THE CARBONYL-DINITROGEN COMPLEX TRANS-[W(CO)(N2)(PH2PCH2CH2PPH2)2]

摘要
Reaction of trans-[W(CO)(N2)(dppe)2] (dppe = Ph2PCH2CH2PPh2) with excess MeOH or HNR2 (R = Me, Et, R2 = (CH2)4, (CH2)5, (CH2)2O(CH2)2) under CO2 afforded a hydrido-carbonato complex [WH(eta1-OCO2Me)(CO)(dppe)2] or hydrido-carbamato complexes [WH(eta2-O2CNR2)(CO)(eta1-dppe)(eta2-dppe)], respectively. X-ray analyses were performed to disclose the detailed structures of these complexes. The former crystallizes in space group P2(1)/a of the monoclinic system with dimensions a = 20.787 (7) angstrom, b = 22.508 (5) angstrom, c = 10.402 (3) angstrom, beta = 102.50 (3)-degrees, V = 4751 angstrom3, and Z = 4, while the latter (R2 = (CH2)4) is monoclinic, space group P2(1)/a, with a = 38.117 (11) angstrom, b = 12.060 (3) angstrom, c = 11.242 (7) angstrom, beta = 98.26 (5)-degrees, V = 5114 angstrom3, and Z = 4. This hydrido-carbamato complex was treated with 1 equiv of AlEt3 Under CO2 to give a carbon dioxide complex trans-[W(CO)(CO2)(dppe)2] containing eta2-CO2 ligand.
