Drug abuse has plagued human society throughout recorded history. The urgency of the problem today is reflected in the flood of newspaper, magazine and medical articles. The greatest tragedy is that our younger citizens are most involved. To understand any teenager's turn to drugs, one must understand teenagers— their problems, their aspirations, and their complex emotions.
