摘要
We present low temperature absorption and emission spectra of diphenylmethylene in benzophenone. Although the spectra are broad at temperatures greater than ∼20 K, considerable structure appears at lower temperatures. The spectra and their temperature dependence are readily explained by a large excitation-phonon coupling which is expected for this type of mixed-crystal system. © 1979 American Institute of Physics.
