DIFFUSION IN ORDINARY AND SUPERCOOLED LIQUID RUBIDIUM

摘要
A simplified mode-coupling theory for single particle diffusive motion is developed and applied to liquid rubidium. Computer simulation experiments are performed for this system both near the melting point and in moderately supercooled states. The data for the relevant dynamic quantities (diffusion coefficient, intercept) are accounted for quite well by the theoretical results. The physical implications of the theory, as well as possible extensions to collective dynamics, are finally discussed. © 1990.
