摘要
The kinetics of the tetralin/1,2-dihydronaphthalene/naphthalene system in the gas phase were studied. The reactions were found to be heterogeneous and followed zero-order rate laws. The rate constants measured at 400°C for initial tetralin conversion to 1,2-dihydronaphthalene plus hydrogen and for initial 1,2-dihydronaphthalene conversion to naphthalene plus hydrogen were 2.3 × 10-14 and 6.3 × 1014 mol/cm2 s, respectively. A heterogeneous mechanistic model is proposed for the system. © 1979 American Chemical Society.
