A TERNARY CONJUGATE SYSTEM FOR SUBSTRATE MEASUREMENTS IN HYDROGEN PEROXIDE GENERATING ENZYME REACTIONS - URATE IN HUMAN FLUIDS

摘要
The ternary conjugate system, the basics of which were previously described, and its adaptation to the analysis of glucose by glucose oxidase, has been modified to make it appropriate for urate analysis utilizing uricase-oxygen as the oxidant system. The intensive and extensive variables of the analytical system have been optimized. The method has been found to yield results that establish its accuracy and reproducibility. It provides a degree of analytical rapidity unattainable by other highly specific methods. The basic system could prove applicable to several other hydrogen peroxide generating enzyme systems. © 1969.
