Kinetic and potentiometric curves of phenylacetylene hydrogenation on a 5% Pt/C catalyst in ethanol under hydrogen pressure have been studied. On the basis of chromatographic data a possible scheme of the process is suggested. © 1979 Akadémiai Kiadó.
