Ni-Fe-Co/Cu(/Co) superlattices were prepared by RF sputtering. These films showed low field GMR with Cu layer thickness t(Cu) = 0.9 nm and 2.0 nm. Thermal stability of the structure and the magnetoresistance were studied. The MR ratios of the films with t(Cu) = 2.0 nm and with Co layers were thermally more stable than those films with t(Cu) = 2.0 nm and without Co layers.
