摘要
It is shown that thermoelectric power measurements are a useful tool for studying titanium alloys. This technique makes it possible to demonstrate the cold working anisotropy in sheets, to determine impurity concentration and phase diagram boundaries, and to study phase transformations and especially precipitation phenomena. Several alloys ( alpha , beta , alpha plus beta ) are chosen as examples.
