摘要
Since the electric fields and mechanical deformation in piezoelectric materials are coupled, the fracture behavior of a crack in such materials depends upon both applied mechanical loads and electrical loads. In this investigation, a three-dimensional analysis of a flat elliptical crack embedded in a piezoelectric material was performed by means of the Fourier transform method. Expressions for the crack opening displacement, interaction energy and the stress intensity factors are derived.
