ELECTRICAL CONDUCTIVITY OF NAPHTHAZARIN METAL COMPLEXES

摘要
The electrical conductivity of naphthazarin metal complexes was measured in temperature range from 20°C to 70°C. The apparent energy gap (ΔE) of naphthazarin and naphthazarin-Cu was 1.0 eV and ΔE of naphthazarin-Fe was 1.8 eV. The naphthazarin-Fex-Cu1-xcomplex took the lowest value of ΔE (about 0.7 eV) at the composition where x ∼0.6. It seems that to take the lowest value of ΔE at the certain composition is due to a charge transfer between Fe and Cu. © 1969, THE PHYSICAL SOCIETY OF JAPAN. All rights reserved.
