摘要
An aromatic derivative study showed how corrosion inhibitors were developed for the control of titanium dissolution in sulfuric acid. Included were the effects of temperature and concentration on the corrosion rate of titanium. Test results indicated distinctly critical concentrations for effectiveness; lower concentrations accelerated dissolution rates. The more effective inhibitors apparently formed permanent complexes with the titanium atom within the lattice structure.
